I have officially survived my first year of teaching! I could not be happier to have a year under my belt. I loved my kindergarten class, but I am very much ready for a new group of students to work with. I decided to work Kinder-Camp this summer, which is summer school for the head start students who are going to be in kindergarten in the fall. I might be crazy for agreeing to this, but it is too late to back out now. Who decides to give up their summer vacation while being 30 weeks along? Oh well, at least my school has air conditioning, and I will have something to keep me busy this summer while we wait for our little girl to arrive. Plus I won't be starting school until the middle of October due to maternity leave so this is a good way for me to meet the new kindergarten students that will be coming in. It is also only 6 weeks long. So I will get a few weeks off before my due date.
I wanted to put up some pictures of my class so that I will remember my very first year.

In other news Tysen just finished up another semester of school. I am so proud of him. He has already started summer school and is busier than ever. We are hoping he will graduate next spring!! I know he can't wait to graduate. We also moved out of our apartment and into a rental house. We finally decided it was time to upgrade to a bigger place with a baby on the way. So far it has been nice to have a place with privacy, a yard and a washer and dryer... the last one is my favorite. Hopefully we can get pictures up soon.
