Job searching and decision making

After weeks of debating, thinking, praying and deciding the pros and cons of two different schools.... I, with the help of Tys, finally made the big decision on which job offer to accept. As of Friday I signed and mailed in my very first teaching contract of my career! I  was originally going to teach fourth grade, but my principal called me on Friday and told me that she had heard that I really wanted to teach kindergarten. She went on to offer me the option to switch from fourth grade for kindergarten. Without any hesitation I immediately said yes!! So I am officially a Kindergarten teacher!!!  I can not wait to see my future classroom and to meet my students! I get to see my classroom this week when I go in for new teaching training. I will make sure to take pictures once I get to into my room. My first year of teaching is going to be a challenging and learning experience but I can not wait.

I better enjoy the rest of my summer because as of today school starts in exactly one month!!
